Spring break was a bust

So over spring break, I was up in Topeka visiting my sister and my nephew. I planned on working on my project but I ended up having to teach my nephew his schooling while I was there and I also found a lot of new food to try and cook so I did that too. Pinterest was my friend and a curse. I am almost done with all the white it is taking me forever because it hurts my head. I am not liking staying at home right now because of this COVID-19 stuff.  I am ready to see my friends. I face timed my aunt and crossitiched with her for a bit.

    Make all your friends a project and you can give it to them when you see them! :)

Starting process...HELP

The first picture I am cross-stitching is one of hello kitty. It's a little hard getting the thread to work for me but once I get it in I find the process very relaxing. It is a good stress reliever for me. I have no clue what I am doing. I look at the back of my pattern and the whole back is different. It kinda is stressing me out some that I can not do this right. Finding time to do this is a little hard too. So I picked this design out because it seemed fairly simple and I need simple. Starting it off was very hard. I couldn't figure out what I was doing and how people do this. I was very frustrated at first, but then I started to figure it out and it was great. I think for my first time it does not look to bad. Distractions

This week was a very interesting week. I planned on working on my project every day but in reality, I have facetimed people and slept. I have been very tired here lately my sleep schedule is ruined. I have baked some treats too. I am honestly at the point where I really only do what is do that day and I am trying to break that. I have so much free time on my hands that I really should be working on it. I spent a day watching the show tiger king on Netflix it was really good. My phone is a major distraction and I need to get off of it. I honestly spend 8 hours on tik tok a day. Crazy stuff man. I am honestly so exhausted from doing nothing I wanna go do stuff. I will start to work on my project and get it done. The white is just killing my head.

Cross-stitch Im a little worried.....

Hello, my name Kelsi. For my project I am doing in English I will be learning how to cross-stitch.  I chose this project because my aunt and grandma do it so now I have a chance to get more family time and finally learn how to cross-stitch. The materials I will need is a needle, thread, and the cross-stitch board thing. ( I am still learning all the terms for cross-stitching so you will probably laugh at some of my words.) I will need designs to start doing. I am going to start doing easy patterns first then advance to more difficult patterns. Some obstacles I might face is not having enough time. Wanting to quit when it gets hard. Just not wanting to do it. This project is worthy of my time because I can have bonding time with my family and make gifts and have another new hobby.
